Our launch year.
The year we set this FQ baby out into the world and the year we realised just how amazing this industry of florists truly are here in Australia (we never doubted you!).
Were we nervous as hell?! You bloody betchya we were. How would it be received? Were we ready for something new? Was the way we found staff and booked jobs working just fine or would a newer, streamlined process be welcomed in the way that we hoped?
Hitting publish on a website that took 12 months to build, 2 days after Valentines Day (yep, we wanted the Jobs Board up and running before VDay – but ya know, “launches”, they never run on time), we waited for the “That’s not how we do things around here….”
It never came.
In fact, the support and embrace from the industry left us speechless. Our pride in this community is beyond measure and the genuine friendships that have been made, not only between us at The FQ with florists all over Australia, but also between our members with each other, warms our little hearts!
The feedback has been amazing. From the Jobs Board, to freelancers filling their schedules, to wedding bookings all over – we couldn’t ask for anything more and genuinely love, love, LOVE to see the support and respect between everyone who interacts with this platform. What a dream.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the most amazing first year, we couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks for the laughs, the late night messages of support, and ALL the absolute beauty we get to witness you guys create every single day.
Bring on 2023! We can’t wait to do it all again with you!
