WiBF held its 2025 Annual General Meeting on Monday 19 May. We took a moment to reflect on our incredible achievements and to look ahead with renewed energy.

On behalf of the team, we’d like to congratulate Nicole Chung, Tom Clayton, and Rebecca Warren on their election to the Board, following their service in casual vacancies.
We’re also delighted to welcome two new WiBF Directors: Megan Papadopoulos from Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, and Simon Warner from Aware Super.

Megan’s financial services career has seen her work across all spectrums of the customer journey from strategy, product development, distribution, loan processing, arrears management, and complaints management, although most people will know Megan as a Contact Centre evangelist. Megan is a believer in the power of organisations to be for profit and to deliver social good concurrently, making Women in Banking and Finance and Bendigo Bank great fits for her values. Megan currently manages Bendigo Bank’s Contact Centre and Customer Resolution teams with a focus on customers and customer experience, people, productivity, and risk uplift.

WiBF Director
Head of Portfolio Management, Aware Super
Simon is Head of Portfolio Management at Aware Super, overseeing $140 billion in assets across private equity, public equities, infrastructure, and property. Leading a team of 80, he manages investment strategy, manager selection, and risk. Simon chairs the AI Working Group and serves on various investment committees. Previously, he was Global Head of Public Markets at AMP Capital, managing a $130 billion portfolio and leading 400 professionals. Simon played a key role in AMP Capital’s transformation. He has held senior roles at Macquarie Asset Management and JP Morgan Chase. He holds degrees from LSE and TRIUM and is an AICD graduate.
