Come with us for a magical glimpse into Katie & Jack’s December wedding, featuring stunning florals from Melbourne florists and FQ fam, Ashe and Grace of Judah Rose.
Kaitlin and Jack got hitched in late December surrounded by loved ones on a perfectly golden afternoon. They hosted their wedding on a beautiful family property nestled in rural Victoria and created a relaxed atmosphere holding their ceremony by the river. It was the perfect location. After the ceremony the guests meandered their way through the fields to a white marquee ready to celebrate the happy couple.
Their day was centered around a summery garden aesthetic with natural textures to complement the surrounding landscape. Ashe and Grace chose wild rambling foliages, accompanied by garden roses and dainty pastel blooms. The florals were designed to flow with their surroundings and interact with the structures around them. All of the installations and arrangements were created using Australian grown blooms and 100% foam free, making the most of what nature has to offer.
“One of the most dreamy moments captured on the day was the trailing silk ribbons moving in the wind. Flowers and silk will always be a yes from us”, was the response when asked what their favourite floral moment of the day was – a tricky question we admit!
We also wanted to get some advice from Ashe and Grace on any advice that we can pass on to couples reading this who are embarking on their wedding planning journey. We love what they said:
